Depends. You looking to learn and actually prepare for residency or just looking to pass the easiest way possible? Take the latter and you'll be struggling through your intern year. If you want a life (have a family, etc) you may want a site that has fewer hours. But you may miss out on good preparation for residency. If I were single I'd definitely chose the place that had the most learning opportunity without being malignant. Malignant is definitely not fun. Previous students should be able to tell you if the rotation is malignant or not.

Pick a mix of the two. For specialties where you think you're interested, then pick rotations where you'll learn a lot. But if you pick rotations that are intense for every month, then you risk burning out. So throw in a few chill rotations here and there. Keep in mind, a LOT of it is luck. Rotations you hear great things about, might be your worst rotation. On the other hand, rotations you hear horrible things about might be your best. Therefore, don't get too stressed out over it.
