hi .......
iam just planning to book for the nbde 1 ( written ) ....iam actually a dentist from India....so in the options given for which category i come in sould i tick dentist / graduate from an non - accrediated dental school. Then for the documentation part they ask for some stuff abt dean's signature and other papers.......isn't enough for us to submit the ece evaluation report......along with that wat r the other documents should i send........pls those who hav booked kindly guide me ........

I registered for the cbt but I think what they must be referring to is Dean's reco.
Anyway, why don't u just call them on monday morning & confirm so u will know first hand.....

dean signature is needed for dental students, you dont need the signature if you already a dentist.

All you need is evaluation report from ECE sent directly to ADA. General report is enough

hey ssaug,

You will be considered as graduated from non accredited dental school for purpose of taking up the exam.Also,If you have graduated(completed internship),you can send all your documents to ece including your degree certificate or provisional degree cert and have them send their report to ADA.If you are still a student/intern,I guess you would have to get the principal to sign the form for you.There was this same query on sdn....and this is the link to it:

but i hav got my ece evaluation done. and i hav 2 copies of them with me and my doubt is .......should only the ece send it to the ada or directly i can send them? is it ok .......i guess i dont need the dean's signature is that right.........

hi ssaug,the ece has to sent an eval report to the ada.if u look at ur evel report the last line says 1 copy sent to ada,provided u had asked them to do so when filling up the ece application.if u have filled out in such a way saying that both the copies be returned to u ,u will now have to pay additional charges( i think 35 $ to order an extra copy to be sent to ada).hope this helps

i called the ada regarding the documents.......
they told they accept the subject to subject analysis ......... sent by the ece to them........should v request the ece to send the report to the following address ?

I think u should do that.... ask ece to send your eval. to ada. I think that is how they like to receive it.... don't worry u do have time so i think it will happen in time for you......

yeah ssaug,

You have to get Ada to send your evaluation report DIRECTLY to the ADA chicago address you mentioned above.Ada considers only copies sent directly by ECE as official.You cannot send the report and enrol for the exam.Meanwhile,Ada generally asks for the general report while admitting you for the test,but if you wanna save some money and haven't opted the Gen report evaluation,then you can ask for the course by course eval to be done and a copy on this is also acceptable for part 1 exam purpose.You will not have to get another course by course eval done when you apply to colleges,you can just ask for copies.
