I am ready to put my AMCAS through, so I ran the audit. But I got a warning, which said that my MCAT/Other tests information is missing. Did anybody get that? Is it okay to just ignore it and click submit.

I have taken MCAT twice and both my scores already show up on my AMCAS. But I just didn't put anything on the "other test info" session.

Help me... :scared:

I think you just have to click the box that says you havent taken it more than once and then click finish...as long as there is a checkmark in the box for standardized tests on the side panel you should be fine.

I have taken MCAT more than once though. I am thinking I got a warning b/c I didn't put in anything for other non-MCAT tests. If that's the case, other people probably got that warning as well or my app is functioning weird. 😕

I do see that there is a checkmark in the box for standarized tests. Hope this is alright.

Dr.C,

Your application isn't weird. I kept running the audit on my application, too, and that same warning kept coming up..I tried repeatedly to see if I missed anything, but I know that I didn't skip any information..

I'm not sure what to do as well..let me check again

So do you have the same exact warning (MCAT/Other tests info missing), too? Okay, that's not me, then. Whew... I hope someone, who submitted their AMCAS already and had it processed can verify that this warning can be ignored.

Dr. C,

I had the exact same warning as you: "MCAT/other tests Information blank"..Since I haven't taken the Auguste MCAT yet, and I have no other exams to report to AMCAS, all of this information will be left blank...but they should have a scroll down menu with the option of "NO OTHER EXAM" or something like that..

You mentioned that you took the MCAT b/f..Did you put that info. under "Other Tests?" If you didn't, maybe that's causing the problem

Hey docjolly,

I went to "Other Tests" section to try to put in saying that I didn't take any non-MCAT tests. But they don't have that option and they only let you type scores in for GRE, LSAT, and tests like that. So I don't think that's my problem.

Dr. C,

I'm not sure what to say..this is what I am currently reading in the AMCAS Instruction Book for the 2005 Entering Class:

MCAT and Other Tests
MCAT scores earned in 2003 and later will be automatically released to AMCAS. Applicants who wish to release MCAT scores earned between 1991 and 2003, and have not yet done so, may do so online. To release scores earned before 1991, please complete the MCAT Score Report Form.

Other Tests Taken
Applicants who wish to include in their application non-MCAT test scores may do so by clicking "Add" on this page.

All sounds pretty useless, right?
Perhaps, since we have no other scores to report, then that should be left blank..hence, the "Warning" sign may be a normal thing, simply indicating that no other test was indicated? Where are the application experts tonight?

I got the same warning...didnt care much for it and just submitted my AMCAS anyways...im sure its not a problem, maybe just a glitch

I am thinking that same thing. Maybe they are just warning us just in case we wanted to put other tests info. Hope that's alright. I really want to submit it tonight. 🙁

Don't worry, you guys! I'm processed and verified and I STILL have that warning. I have it because I don't have an MCAT score (Waiting on April!!!) and b/c I didn't add any other tests. Warnings are fine. If you get an error, you can't submit it, but those warnings are on Everybody's stuff. Submit it!!!!
