i have been browsing this site for a while now..my part 1 score is 89 and part 2 is 75..i have applied to most of the schools,but did not hear from any of them.i want to retake the exam.but not sure which one to take.i am totally confused.any advice will be really appreciated.thanxs.

if i were you, for the next year, i would like to improve my part one score and if time allows, i will improve my part two score. But i will surely improve my part one score and update my resume. You must be seeing now, what kind of score r the schools looking for and i am sure this will increase tremendously by next year.

Hey there
Incase u 're interested in schools which consider part-2 score then its imperative to improve the score. Schools like BU,NYU ...dont really see ur part-2 scores,infact once u getin,they encourage u to improve ur part-2 scores for further studies incase u r interested.
Also a friendly advice ....concentrate on one thing at a time and give ur best to it.

hey sweety didnt u get a call frm the california schools?
u have a good chance in nyu. apply to all schools u possibly can now and thn start studying for ur part1 try giving it within 2-3 months. u can tell bu and allthe other schools tht u r ggoing to takke part1 again and thn whn u get ur new scores u can send thm to the schools. bu especially gives a lot of importance to part1 so if u can take by the end of dec thn u can send ur scores by mid jan. u have a good chance thn.
its really getting competitive nowadays. as international says next yr will be more competitive.
my advice to u will be to take part1 as soon as possible so tht u dont lose 1 yr.

i have applied to ucsf and ucla.i didnot get any call from them.i thought may be becos of my part 2 score .i feel its better to take part 1 again.thanks to ivshah,international,vashishta,ann 03 for taking there time to help me.i will start studying from today.i know its not easy,but want to give my best shot.
