hi everyone
i really need help here
i gave my nbde part 1 in end of august nd got my report afew days back
i had given the exam without studying much as i was under the impression that i'l be able to give it again after 90 days.
i got 84 overall on it
now i'm planning to retake it, after that i'l apply to 2 or 3 colleges where the application deadline is late.
i have a very good gpa nd a very good score at toeffl
i would like to know afew things .....

**should i apply for the ece course by course report now only,or should i do that when i'm applying ,because if i do it now the colleges will recieve my report before my application

**what is the procedure for sending the nbde score reports to colleges- can i mail the ada on the day i give my test to send my report to various colleges also? or do i have to wait before i recieve my report before sending them a written request ? i was hoping to save some time like this

Hi,
u can send your ECE report now or even later.
If u send now, make sure u call and ask the school whether they will keep ur file active till when u actually apply.
Even if u do later after re-taking..it is ok ..they process additonal requests in time. Also order additional reports at ur home address also,since some colleges need u to send it with ur application.

As for NBDE scores, u have to write to ADA only after u get ur scores..They too send it on time..
If u r a FTD,I will suggest tht u ask ETS to send in ur TOEFL scores asap..they take a hell lot of time..Even they can't help..there are 1000s of score reports they have to process daily.

I fully agree with daagdar-saab... your NBDE and ECE reports will be mailed on time but ETS will take ages to mail your TOEFL score... so be prepared for it and take appropriate action...

I sent a request to ETS on 26th July.... I am still struggling to correspond with them and follow up my score requests... after so many e-mails, ETS says that my scores were mailed on the 6th of SEP but the universities have not yet got my TOEFL score... so you can judge for yourself...

From my experience, my suggestion to you would be this.... as soon as get your TOEFL result, fax them your additional score request form... then wait for 10 business days or may be even after 7-8 business days, start corresponding with ETS via e-mail in order to remind them and make sure your scores are sent soon....
