hi everyone i need some help with some of the following questions- any help would be appreciated.
1) Why is desirable to use the smallest available blank size? Are there any circumstances when it wouldn't be so important?
2) How do you take account of the geometrical inset of the lenses when using the lens blank pre-determinator or ditest.
3) How would your procedures/results have been different if you were using a glass solid 38mm downcurve bifocal? (as compared to plastic lens)
4) What extra information would you supply if you were just ordering 1 new len for the patient to make an existing bifocal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
