hi all,
i am in need of a advice,please help me.i got a score of 86% in part 1 and a toefl score of 247 so please advice me if i can apply with this score for any school or do i need to take my part 1 again.
i will be greatful to u all if u give me an advice.

Hai dr_anie,

I think you can apply for all schools which doesn't require part2.i think you better work on your other credentials like US experience,part2(added advan),your recommendation letters etc.,i donot think there is need to retake part1, better not take risk..........

you can take part 2 and apply to colleges like tufts where part 2 score is mandatory application requirement.
OR
retake part 1 and toefl if you can.a good toefl score is always an added advantage.

What is tufts...i am new to US..just wanted to find the information ...
Also ..is there any site which has all the universities international dentists are eligible..
If you have a list...please send it across to me...
And how many universities need PART 2 score along with PART1 score...please let me know the info...

I know that as many as 8-10 schools offer Advanced standing Program..Some offer 2 year program others vary in duration and fees structure also...You can also check it out on the web

4. UPenn
5.Tufts

7.USCF

9.Casewestern University, Ohio
10.Add UCLA too

Can I ask you all a Question...

Have any one of you been asked to submitt a Recommendation letters....Is this asked from all the University that provide a 2-3 years program...

the only think is that my University, the Dean's is the only one who does the recommendation..the teachers not permitted...you know how is it ..to prvent favorisim..

I end up having 2 letters from the dean,,,, Would that be enough for the US schools. or would they be stifle about it...It took me at least 3 month to get this freaking letters...with all distance and being also a foregin gradute in that country also...Big dilema for me....
