I received a formal letter from my school today stating that I had breached a contract with the school for an incident that had taken place earlier in the year. Pretty much all that happened was that me and a buddy of mine were in this girl's room and I guess we got a little too careless and had knocked some of the girl's roommates belongings out the window and on to the roof below. The school gave us a warning for dropping items out windows, saying it endangered others. It is not on my final transcript but it is on the conduct record. Other than that, the school had done nothing. Is this something that I need to report to AMCAS? and if so, how much will it affect my chances of getting in? If I need to report this I have no problem doing so, I am just uncertain whether or not this constitutes an institutional action, and by no means do I want to lie on the AMCAS

It is always better to disclose than not. However, I would call AMCAS to ask.

I would call your school to find out if they consider it to be an "institutional action". If so, you need to report it.
