Hello Everyone!

I just finished taking my Kaplan DAT final, and I got a 18 on every section except math and PAT i got a 20 on those. I basically need to get 22's on every section on the real DAT... 😕 what do you think? i am done for ?? also, all my studying is just straight out the kaplan materials... is that good enough to score 22's on everything? thanks in advance!

I took Kaplan to prepare for the DAT and if you did all the homeworks as well as the suggested assignments, then I'd say you got plenty of practice and you'll be fine on the real DAT. I thought the DAT was easier than Kaplan's practice exams, except for the PAT... the PAT was harder on the DAT.

Hi LadyxJC,

thanks a lot for your input. I have my exam in 19 days and i'm really scared. my BCP is 2.97 but my science and nonscience GPA is both 2.62, so the DAT is basically all I have going for me. Wish me luck! I am going to beat the Kaplan materials to death.

i think you will be ready, but keep working hard. i got 16 or 17, on the real thing i got 22

Thanks for the replies, what a rush of motivation! Any of ya'll play final fight ? you know when Haggar does his special move he says ' HEEEYYARRRR' ?? i'm ready to do some special moves on the DAT!

no, you have no chance of scoring a 20+. I recommend choosing a different field, preferably nursing

i don't know about final fight, but you should do well.

You should buy topscore from scholarware for more practice. If you get 18s on those test, then you should get above 20s on the real thing.

for the Sciences, if you got 18 on those, then you are doing really good...but make sure you hit the kaplan review book, as the suggested problem sets at kaptest.com is way too much critical thinking...when you take those problem sets and exam, just go over the answer and take in the basic foundation...but make sure you get the review book material down...

haha... good luck! You'll be fine... don't be too nervous, that might work against you. Haha... like I should be talking... I spent the night before the exam in an ER... and my diagnosis was anxiety + stress. LoLz... anywayz, study hard and make urself proud~
