How much harder is the real DAT from Kaplan full length DATs?
My scores vary on Kaplan full DAT, they not good!!!

from my experience, the kaplan chem/organic is tougher than real DAT. I barely made a 19 on any kaplan test in gchem, but got a 22 on DAT. Bio is tougher though on the real DAT. I had to use 3 other sources to get a 21 in the bio section. The Ochem is spot on, about the same difficulty level as real DAT.

THe PAT is about the same except for hole punching and angles, which is harder on DAT.

Going into the test i was also worried that kaplan was gonna be way easier than the actual DAT. But i used it as my main source and did ok. Different people will tell you different things, just use the source to its fullest and learn from all the errors.

when i was studying for my DAT i only studied from kaplan, and i didn't do so well. i got a 16 as my total score and i have to retake it in december. 😡 i would suggest that you study from something else also, like a textbook. i heard for bio, a textbook by campbell is awesome! it's easy to read and the pictures are great. for gen chem and orgo, any college textbook is fine, since it's all straightforward. as long as you know your stuff, they won't give you any tricks. all i have to say is that kaplan is just not enough for the DAT. you have to get your info somewhere else, because kaplan is just "an appetizer" as some like to call it. 😛
