Hello,

I am interested in applying for a PGY 2 first year PM and R spot beginning in 2006. Is there a website I could check after the match that lists open spots and also mentions if people left the program? Or, do I have to call individual programs and inquire about openings? Thanks

I was in the same position as you, looking for an open PGY2 spot. My advice would be to contact every program and follow-up if you don't get a response. Websites are unreliable and may not reflect current openings (i.e., a resident may have just left). I eventually found an open spot and just started my PGY2 at the beginning of 1/05. Good luck.
