Thats a great idea, thanks! But I feel I could also benefit from video lectures with schematics and used to explain concepts.

I'm going to go ahead and bump this topic. I'm about to start PGY2 at my advanced PM&R program and I have all the books and things but I would love some videos if such a thing exists.

The only videos to my knowledge are the ones provided by AAPMR Knowledge Now. I think that I may be the only person in the world who has purchased some of them. Well actually, my command purchased them to allow me to keep up on CMEs. Two birds, one stone.

So far I have reviewed the following presentations:
-Prosthetic, Orthotics
-Peds
-EMG
-SCI
-Stroke
-Cardiac/Cancer

I haven't had a chance to review the following...though I plan to get around to it:
-Industrial Med
-Joint and Connective Tissue
-Pain

Unfortunately they don't have a TBI lecture...lame.

It gives you objectives, does a pre-test, goes through a powerpoint lecture, and then gives you a post-test. You don't "own" the content forever. Some of the content expires this fall, and some expires in 2018. They aren't free. They are over $50 a pop.

Are they worth it? If you are the type of person who NEEDS audio instruction and you feel your program is lacking with teaching...probably. Notice that the presentations are NOT live (with a few exceptions)...they are talking behind a powerpoint slide. If that's your thing...then I think that you can help you.

I felt that the EMG one was pretty good...as it did have some visual instruction and the presenter was pretty engaging. I thought that the other ones contained good information but were a bit dry. The tests don't have large vignettes to work through. If you pay attention during the lecture, you'll probably do ok on the post-test and be able to cash in your CMEs.

Thanks for your input as always. I think I may get them just because I am that much of an audio/visual learner and really only like book reading to reinforce things that I have already learned.

THANKS all - the Temple videos are great! I wish there were more readily accessible free lectures.
