Any recommendations for pocketbook for Peds much like a Pocket medicine for IM??? Want something for diagnosis and treatment that I can carry along with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'll mostly be using the Harriet Lane book (or some equivalent), but I wouldn't buy one on your own -- they will be in every team room.

I liked the Clinical Handbook of Peds. Written at the level of a 3rd year student and diagnoses are grouped by presenting chief complaint. The only problem I had with it is that it is significantly larger than a book like Pocket Medicine and may give you scoliosis if you try cramming it into your white coat like I did.

Try the new Tarascon's peds book. It is the same makers of pharmacopia and the EM pocketbook. It is the same size too....tiny but packs a wallop.

I've got the Lange Essentials of Peds...pocket friendly, easy to maneuver, quick reference.
