Hey everyone,

I have a pocket PC from years ago that i've NEVER used. I actually bought it with the hopes of using it during undergrad but that never happened. Does anyone use them in medschool? Should I take it with me or leave it behind? Any experiences?

Thanks,

Lina

If somehow you can load epocrates onto it, it might be helpful. The calculator and datebook, if it has one, could come in handy.

very useful...

pocket IE and pocket AIM... 😉

pocket pc's will be useful during your clinical rotations mostly, and of course during residency.

there are times that i use mine for case studies, and when we go into clinic.

but if you don't have one yet, I would wait until your third year before you buy one. technology is always improving and prices are always falling. so it's better to wait until then.
