for those of you (like me) who had no idea what this lynch is about:

Team Rocket (ロケット団 Rocket-Dan) is a criminal organization, with their main base in the Kanto Region, and the Johto region with branches in the Unova Region (in the anime), and Sevii Islands. They are headed by Giovanni, who also doubles as the Viridian City Gym Leader.
Team Rocket's main goal is obtaining powerful and rare Pokémon to help their criminal syndicate in the hopes of someday taking over the world. They obtain these Pokémon by regular capture, or more often, theft. In addition to this they also perform inhuman experiments on Pokémon to further enhance their power.



Admittedly this is from wikipedia, but I assume the gist of it is right.

Team Rocket = criminal = wolf.

BTW, I see no reason to keep this quiet, so what Dyachei is alluding to is that I investigated Devyn night 1 and was told Devyn was a majestic water-ice pokemon who had the potential to become something more.

I assumed that being a pokemon meant Devyn was a villager.

Right now I am guessing that either the "had the potential to become something more" means that Devyn became something bad, the pokedex is unreliable for some reason, Devyn was converted, or Devyn was unsee-able.

Hopefully we can finish this off and the mods will be generous and will give us more info in the write-up.

Kind of frustrating when you only get 1 investigation, and now it is unreliable and you relied upon it. 😡
 
I don't think anyone should change their vote, but Devyn seems to be silenced as she has still not answered my PM, and she is usually pretty reliably on SDN.

I wonder if wolfish actions lead to silencing, or being discovered as a wolf leads to silencing (assuming Devyn is a wolf).

Actually as I type this, I just realized it is Friday nigh:lock:t, so maybe she is at a Poker game or something, so maybe not silenced after all. 😀

Ignore everything I just wrote (I could delete it, but then my effort will have been wasted:laugh:)

Team Rocket is kind of a big deal in pokemon. I think it would be an original wolf role rather than a conversion role. I don't see how she could be unsee-able one night but not the next, unless she has a wolf role that has a (____)% chance of avoiding detection, but it seems weird that her fake identity would be so elaborate. I don't really see a pokemon "becoming" a member of Team Rocket, so I would say that is out.

Best options seem to be a potentially faulty pokedex, a really awesome wolf role for devyn, or SOV as a wolf. 🙁

Someone check SOV out tonight so we can clear him if at all possible?

I investigated her because she was in my group. Can't claim any particular insight to be perfectly honest. I like to be able to strategize with someone I trust.

Lol! When I was going through devyn's old thread posts, I must have accidentally quoted one? So weird.
 
Alternatively, SOV claims to have found his pokemon match. If anyone wants to step up and admit to being his match, that could help clear him as well.

but they are likely much smarter
than to defend wolfy partners

so perhaps by lynching the drunk
we can see who might be spewing bunk
so lynch devyn and hope we're on track
else for the pokedex - we might want our money back...

Not many accusations were thrown around and they were not needed. With the help of an item, Sheebal found out some valuable information. He (?) sprang forward, claiming that Devyn was part of Team Rocket, the most evil of the evil! Worse than the Pokemon trainers! It didn't take long for everyone to turn on Devyn who was not present to defend herself. They searched and searched the woods, the trees and finally the waters, while hastily discussing some other stuff. But at the waters, that's where they finally found her. It is the only place she could have been. Without even giving her a chance, she was attacked and killed. And while they were celebrating a win, they were still in shock to see that a Pokemon as great as Lapras could turn over to the evil side.

You have lynched devyn, a good Lapras that has turned to the evil and became a member of Team Rocket.

I am really really glad that the write up included that Lapras turned into Team Rocket. I would NEVER have guessed that was possible.

Now that we know that devyn was a wolf... I should let y'all know (since the wolves obviously do know).

I am the protector. I am the one that protected Nyanko and saved her from attack.

After the first night when I investigated Devyn I completely confided in her.
I assume that she kept me alive so the wolves would know who was being protected. I actually continued protecting Nyanko after that night after consultation with Devyn. I am sure that is why no one else has been saved.

So... PLEASE protect me tonight. Now that the wolves can't use me for info, I am sure I will be a target, if not tonight... then soon. Haven't actually checked if I can protect myself, but I will obviously look into that.

Luckily I had no other info to pass on (except wildcat being my other 1/2).

Oh wow... Well, this is very interesting. Devyn was my match. Never caught any wolfishness so I suspect she turned very recently. That, or the fact that she's a damn good player got the best of me. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

And because I can... Go O's!!! :woot:
