Quite a while ago I tried to lynch one of the disappeared (DVMD). Purely because I wanted to test how really truly 'disappeared' they were. In retrospect, I'm not sure it's worth wasting an entire lynch to test what is probably a far-fetched theory, but..... *shrug* Something to talk about, I guess.

Hm, this is an interesting theory. But that would give us a LOT of wolves, wouldn't it?

With the Devyn conversion, as Lapras, she wasn't a Pokemon that could "become something greater." At least, I don't think she did. That doesn't really leave us with much of an idea of who gets converted.

As for votes, I'm considering the lynch a dead player but wonder if that would be a waste of a lynch. Then again, seeing that we haven't had much luck catching wolves via lynch, I wonder if it wouldn't be such a bad idea....

Not sure I understand you, but her role description definitely said she "could become something greater".

I posted that way back when she was lynched.

The night was long and cold, but with no one dead, the Pokémon were torn between feeling hopeful and feeling suspicious. They tried playing Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64 for a while, but they soon grew bored when Sheebal won 4 games in a row. Tossing aside their controllers, they decided that they might as well lynch someone.

With little to go on, several Pokémon resorted to spinning around in a circle and voting for whoever they ended up facing. Some were aggressive. Some were passive. The votes were all over the place. Semi-modly people sat at the edge of their seats, waiting to see what might happen. It started to look like they might be lynching LIS, but, frankly, most people were too afraid to come near him. Legend of his whip had spread near and far, and while no one had seen it on the island, they weren't about to take chances!

In a sudden moment of calm, when all seemed to be at an impasse, they sprung at him and strung him up. With his last breath, he cursed them, villagers and wolves alike.
You have lynched LIS, formerly Eevee, but resurrected as Mewtwo, Master of Chaos. Prepare yourselves. It is night.

Sooo, that kind of sounds like a chaotic type role and even though probably not wolf, probably not someone good either....I wonder if the anon voters who voted for him at the last minute (looks like that's what happened, right?) knew about that...
 
Totally fell asleep through that vote (not that I would have been brave enough to be a tie breaker or any sort)... but question for the mods. Is it intentional that you don't give us any indications as to whether those lynched are wolves or not?
 
Wow, this was quite a lot to wake up to!! While it doesn't appear LIS was a wolf - he definitely doesn't fall into the "good" category in my book, I say that puts one in the win column for us - we need everything we can get now! PS - thanks X and W...want to tell us who you are so we can personally thank you? Well, it was worth a shot.

I KNEW LIS' avoiding attack without a reason was suspicious, but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. :meanie:

Luckily W and X could see through his BS.

Unfortunately I think that means someone was converted last night.

Well, on the bright side, the odds of nailing a wolf have increased!
 
Foxhunter will not be around today... And will be in a nyanko state of mind. At Austin city limits music festival with my brother.
 
Out for the night folks!! Mods, not sure when night or next lynch cycle ends, but if I catch it before I go to bed I will try and vote. May send in a contingency if I have to.
 
The pokemon gather, chatting happily. Maybe it'd be another night like last night?

Unfortunately, their faces quickly fell.

foxhunter, an adorable little Poochyena, has disappeared and cannot be found.

Lynch deadline is 7pm EST. Going to try and speed this game up a bit tomorrow and see what happens, so be prepared. If that's trouble for anyone, let me know.

She is definitely on my list... Not sure if LIS is a neutral chaos character or a wolf character. To me, the word chaos in his name is not conclusive. I think he might have been a wolf, thus kaydubs is definitely questionable now.

but Phil had been suspicious for a longer time to me!

Yeah, I was going to say that based on what the mods said, I'm not sure LIS was a wolf. But then... why else would anyone be resurrected and not be their original character...?
 
ok, i gotsa goes and studies for a while and will try to be back to change my vote if needed, but in case I don't i didn't want to miss another one so here goes.

there was that bout of suspicion a while back that she managed to dodge, and now "mischief" whatev that means. totally willing to switch if more compelling info comes up for someone else, or if phil can explain and have it verified.

i have that damn awakening item AGAIN, and realized just now that it never said whether or not it had to be used at night or if it could be used during any part of the cycle, so i'ma send a pm to the mods now and see if i can use it on philiab just in case she's silenced.

I think that characters have been resurrected as other characters in past games (Pretty sure it happened in Jurassic Park, character came back and chose to be neutral). I was worried that was going to happen (LIS was going to come back as a non-villager). I had tried rezz-ing other characters (LIS wasn't my first choice) but they were unable to be brought back.

I'm sorry for bringing back a non-villager😳. I'd hoped to add to our side but failed. Now this makes me worry about WTF but I've also been suspicious of Philliab. DId your message say anything about sort of mischief she was up to, SOV?

I had the pokedex and Itemfinder last night. I used the pokedex to investigate kaydubs and the Itemfinder to see if minnerbelle had anything last night. I can share those results to prove it.

Exactly what item did you use on me last night? And I was silenced by hypnotic. Not sure how I was healed, but thank you again.

I am not a wolf. I'm the third legendary Pokemon.

Keeping my lynch vote as there is no way that wasn't a set up.

I tracked you last night. That is where the info comes from.

And the more you insist it "has to be a set-up" the more I believe you are lying. We have lynched plenty of silenced wolves before, actually it has happened to me... And accidentally lynched silenced villagers before withou knowing they were lienced, atually it has happened to me..

The results I received were clearly ambiguous. Didn't say you were a wolf, just mischievous, your response though is very wolfy though.

And SOV...I am insistent on being set up because that is what this is. It's an easy thing for a wolf to do. Just wish I'd used the pokedex oN you last night instead.

I have no other way to Defend myself. I've told you who I am, and what I was doing last night.
