Policy Internship Question

Would working at a health policy think tank that is generally considered more "left" leaning hurt my chances at some medical schools? I personally don't really feel that I lean a certain way (or rather I lean different ways on different issues) but I don't want to sabotage my chances at any school by working at a think tank that is considered "too liberal". Note that this is a really high top think tank and definitely not "radical" or anything.
