What are your thoughts/philosophies on exercising with you busy work load. I've found myself drastically tapering off since returning to school last year and am feeling (seeing) the effects.

check out this thread in the lounge It's called Exercise regimens. :) Some SDNers are hardcore exercisers!

I do aerobics and I plan to teach them in med school if no one else will. :D I have to practice this summer.

exercise = good stress reliever and study break.

As exercise is one of the best preventive health measures one can take, all future docs should be exercising regularly!! You don't want to be in the position of telling your patients "Do as I say, not as I do." How long do you suppose it will take before this gets moved to the lounge?

yup, exercise is essential to me, even when there's a heavier workload. Sometimes I use it as a good way to procrastinate, & I love how it's stress-relieving. :D do you guys ever notice feeling down/tired when you're not keeping up w/ your workouts?

Exercise is definitely one of my major stress relievers. During exams especially, I make it a priority to get in the gym at least four times a week. Even if I'm only in the gym for less than an hour, I find that I'm much more relaxed and focused after a morning workout. All you couch potatoes should give it a try….
