Hey Everyone,

I'm a pre-med student who has currently finished their first semester at college and I have to say that I'm not pleased with my grades. Of course, this is on me because for some classes I could have worked harder, I believe just getting used to the new lifestyle and rigor of college threw me off a bit:

Anyways my grades here are as follows:
Bio 151 - B
Calc 201 - either B or C, the final grade has not been posted
Honors classes - A, I'm currently in 3 at the moment and they are required courses to stay in the honors college at my school
Chem 102 - A
Bio Lab - A
Chem Lab - A

Overall my GPA should be either a 3.3 or 3.5 depending on the calc grade (this is based on the calculator my college offers).

My next semester schedule is as follows:
Bio 152 + lab
Orgo Chem + lab
Honors stats 210
2 honors classes (one online)
1 online class required for major

I know this is just my first semester and I have a lot of time to improve my studying habits and work ethic, but should I be concerned that some of these grades could hurt my chances at med school?

There was exact same thread here yesterday...

Relax, you just started college and your pre-med career is far from over. You know what you did wrong, so fix it in the next semester.
