Possible for Administrative position with just a MD/DO degree

Hello,

I was wondering if a MPH, or any masters degree was a neccesity for an administrative position for a hospital.

I am applying to med school, and I was thinking that an administrative position could be my "fall-back" if i ever decide to leave the ER. I was also considering teaching at a medical school ( i think i would like that better)

Any advice would be appreciated.
