My current cum GPA is below a 2.5, due to poor study habits, procrastination, and cramming. I changed majors recently for reasons not related to gpa, but for a Plan B just in case type of thing, liking it more. It still fulfills my prerequisites and then some. I have ton of courses left, 32 classes, that add up to a lot of credit hours, with a lot of science courses like micro, human a& P, orgo, physics, biochem, etc mostly upper level division courses. I have about two years left till graduation. I plan to take courses through the summer along with regular semesters which adds up to 6 semesters. Because this semester I unfortunately had to sit out for financial reasons. Is it possible to bring my GPA up to a 3.5-3.6, if all As are received in my remaining courses? or not a chance? :bag:

Hey well first off I wish you the best in your future course work but anticipating all A's is a bit overzealous. Focus on your classes and don't over do it with too many classes per semester, I was in your shoes with a similar GPA after my first year and a half of college, and I am now in my fifth and final year and after retaking about 10 classes for higher grades and doing well on my upper levels (Not nearly all A's btw) my gpa is around 3.5-3.6 range. I took summer classes and winter classes for two straight years along with 21+ credit semesters. It's definitely possible just make sure your mentally ready for it, it's definitely not easy. I wish you luck. Lmk if you have any questions

Use a GPA calculator. We can know without knowing how many credits you have and the grades for those credits. I use excel to track my grades, but http://gpacalculator.net/ works too. Since this is an osteopathic forum, and AACOMAS has grade replacement, getting your GPA up is always possible. It's harder on AMCAS.
