That's what the radiologist said regarding the MRI. Is it possible this is nothing? Or is this really serious?

I assume it was "dysplasia" rather than "dysphasia". The report and how it's worded suggests that there was a very subtle finding that was hard to be definite about. Was this a seizure patient? If the location of this the possible abnormality in the brain correlates with the place of the seizure focus on EEG and the symptoms, then you can put these pieces of information together and formulate a treatment plan. Also there are now specific seizure protocols on stronger MRI machines (3T magnetic strength) that may confirm the above possible abnormality. An MRI on these machines may be able to confirm the suspected abnormality on MRI. A PET scan may also be used to confirm this suspected abnormality if it's a suspected seizure focus. You may also want to consult an epilepsy focused neurologist to guide your care.
