I am considering staying on internal medicine, rather than going on into PM&R. That said, I really like the program I was planning to go to, but other factors in my life are changing my mind. I don't want to leave them in the lurch though, so anyone still looking for a PGY-2 spot in PM and R please let me know!

I am a PGY-1 in IM but looking to transfer. What program were you thinking of not going to? Which city? Have you made up your mind? Life is so confusing.. PM me.

Hi all, thank you for all your response and interest. I am trying to negotiate with my current program to see if they can give me a little more flexibility in my 3rd year. If they can, I am staying here and there will be a PGY-2 vacant spot. It is such a hard decision, because I love PM&R, but my family is here, and my father in law is really sick...
I will post my final decision here on Tuesday May 2 (after I meet with my current program director), and I will be letting the program know on Tuesday or Wednesday. When I talk with them I would like to have a list of potential replacements to give them. So get your CVs ready if you are interested.
