Possible to have deposits in to 2 different schools?

I posted my situation a little over a week ago and now I have another question about it.

To make a long story short: I've been accepted to two schools, I got a speeding ticket in Ohio a year and a half ago, didn't know it was a misdemeanor (all speeding tickets are in OH) so didn't report it on AMCAS, it showed up on my background check, and now I am waiting to hear from the one school about whether or not they're going to kick me out over a misunderstanding about a speeding ticket.

In the mean time, am I able to send in a tuition deposit to hold my place at the other school I'm accepted to (assuming they will be forgiving when I disclose the misdemeanor to them before the background check)? Has anyone ever had to do this? Thanks in advance.

You can send deposits to two different schools.

You can hold multiple acceptances until May.

It is my understanding you can deposit every school you are admitted to, however, come May 15th, you can only keep one admitted school and must give up the others. Waitlists can be held until final decision.

From any school where you withdraw before May 15, you get the deposit back.

Some traffic tickets can be misdemeanors.

Every premed, be warned and doublecheck.

Some speeding tickets can even be felonies, as I was horrified to learn as the judge made his opening remarks. But I wouldn't worry too much about it. Try to call and actually speak to someone about the misunderstanding.
