Hi all, does anyone know if it is possible to scramble for Child Neurology? i.e. do you have to go through the match for the pediatrics residency? thanks in advance

Yes, you can. But you would have to have been signed up for the San Francisco match already and have not matched to a program. So it's separate from pediatrics, which is a part of the NRMP. You can check out the information at the sfmatch.org website...

Whoops, I said something wrong. You can scramble, even if you didn't register. The positions available are for those starting in July, so I guess you have to have already done/be in the process of doing the first two years of pediatrics first. Here's the website with the vacancies: http://sfmatch.org/vacancies/r_childneurology.htm

Good luck!
