Would you guys recommend going to a Post-Bac program to prepare for medical school if your stats are below average, but possibly good enough to get in somewhere. Or would you go to a program just to have the upper hand to get accepted to that's schools DO program?
 
If you're on the cusp of acceptability, suggest trying out an application cycle and seeing how it goes. you'll get feedback on your deficits if you get rejected, and in, say, working for a year, you can save some money.
