Post Bac with Guarnteed admission!

Hi Guys,

Do you guys know of any post bac programs that guarntee admission if you maintain a certain GPA in the program?

By that I mean, into their own medical school or an affiliated one?


*Anywhere in the US (preferbly Illinois or midwest)
*Either into a MD or DO school or even Dental
*Non minority/economically disadvantaged programs please

I have already looked at the AAMC Post bac list and other threads w/ no luck.

I haven't seen any that guarantee admission, doing well will help but in the end it's not only how well you do but how well your competition does.

Some of the programs do say that if you do well you have a very good chance of being accepted, but stop short of a formal promise.

A lot will give you a guaranteed interview but thats it

Temple has a program that will give you direct admission if you maintain a 3.5 and get a 30 (with no section less than 8) on the MCAT.

That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head...the other programs I can think of only guarantee an interview if you meet minimum requirements.

UT at dallas does not have any specific requirements when I asked them. Its a post bac that grants succeful students a certificate

Brym Mawr has a few consort schools that don't require you to take the MCAT. You get accepted during your postbac year and so long as you maintain a certain GPA, you'll start at the given medical school in the fall.
