Can you take any classes(bio/chem/phy) in your post bacc program? What is the diff between formal and informal post bacc?

Formal is structured and they tell you what classes you need to take to complete the program. Informal you can take whatever classes you pleased.

With a formal program, you generally will get a committee letter which may help with your application vs. just individual letters. Also in my experience, in a formal postbacc program, you can register for classes with the undergrads. Informally, you register last which means you may get locked out of important classes.
