I was recommended to apply to post bacc programs that are record enhancers (preferably ones that have automatic matriculation into the schools MD program). The problem is I need a program that is covered 100% by Fafsa funding/loan so I can pay for the program and my living expenses. I have above a 30 on my MCAT but my GPA is slightly below a 3.0, are there any good programs out there that you can recommend.

Thanks 🙂

What FAFSA will do is assess your need for federal financial aid which is based on your individual assets (cash, savings, property, etc). You will then receive a statement based on how much you can receive in unsubsidized stafford loans, which are loans that accumulate interest which the gov does not pay (compared with subsidized stafford loans which the gov pays the interest while you are in school). post-baccs I believe are consider grad programs and grad programs no longer are eligible for subsidized stafford loans. Moreover, the unsubsidized loans are limited, so you may need to take out a private personal loan, such as from a bank. Obtaining loans for edu will not be a problem as long as your credit is good. Therefore, you are free to apply to any post-bacc program you want, as long as you are willing to undertake debt to do so.
