The Awakenings Center ( www.awakeningscenter.org ) is hiring for post-doctoral clinicians at our Durham/Chapel Hill location.
We are currently working remotely via tele-health--relocation timeframe is therefore flexible!
We are looking for motivated, engaged, and growth-minded therapists and counselors to be part of our group and provide individual therapy as well as couples and sex therapy. We welcome candidates of every race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation and we will provide training in couples and sex therapy. Awakenings approaches therapeutic work from an attachment theory lens and utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy to help bridge the gaps between partners and understand the relational disconnects that create distress in individuals.
Post-doctoral and licensure supervision is provided to all clinicians in addition to 1.5 hours of group supervision and weekly didactic trainings. We have a structured training curriculum and training in EFT is encouraged and provided to all staff as it frames the supervision as well as group discussions and lecture. We provide administrative support, marketing, and generate referrals for all clinicians, allowing you to focus on your time with clients, growing your clinical skills, and improving your work in the room. We cross-refer to maximize our strengths, work collaboratively with other therapists and physicians, and reach out to educate our community about how to strengthen their relationships.
We understand that growing a caseload is a process and our competitive compensation for post-doctoral clinicians includes both a base salary to stabilize your compensation during the building up of your patient load as well as a per session rate. Health benefits are included in addition to both a quarterly and yearly bonus structure as well as the possibility of relocation assistance.
