I know this is probably some terrible combination of masochism and sadism, but I was curious if anyone has received any meaningful post-interview communication. I have gotten some very vaguely positive responses to no thank you notes, but none of the "love letters" I have heard about in past years.

I've only sent three letters to places I really liked. My results:

1. One very nice reply.
2. One simple "Nice to see you, thanks for visiting."
3. One no reply.

I've got some really positive emails like "would love to have you. let me know if this is a place you are still interested in after interviews"
