I thought it would be cool if we all add our online ID's to a list, in order to build a friends list of people on this forum. Would make for some sweet private games on COD4, customizable maps, rules, etc.

I do agree that fps aren't as good on consoles as far as controls. Mouse and keyboard is much easier, BUT different styles. I personally like to sit on my couch with a beer and feet up over hunched over in front of the screen clicking away in the dark. (I've done both plenty. Counter Strike and Team Fortress Days I did it WAYYYYYYYYY too much)

I suspect these games will be better than the ones with 13 yearolds who still haven't hit puberty. If I have to listen any more of their trashtalk, I may go psycho.

Side note: I made Brig. General last night....minor achievement for me.

On an another note, I played the best I've ever done last night. A 20 kill streak (w/ no hits on airstrike, and only 2 from the helo) on one game which ended w/ 21 kills, 1 death), and 35 kills, 5 deaths on another.
Strange, most nights, I get an avg. of about 10-15 kills and about that many deaths, but last night it as on like da donkey kong 🙂.

My only strategy is silence. Silenced weapons, UAV jammer, Silent moving (or whatever that perk is). Then know the map really well, and flank, flank, flank.

I'm on level 48 of the 1st legacy mode, and I'm guessing you get to legacy up again after 55? I see different medals on the lobby screen, so I'm pretty sure that's what happens. Anybody there yet?

Yea, I think you get different medals.

Every now and then things just click with me and I the opposition just sucks. I think I got a 15 or 17 kill streak yesterday and finished the round 32-4-4 which is by FAR my best. I normally get in the 15-20 range for kills, but I go kamikaze and kill myself a lot. On slightly longer maps I tend to use the m16 with red dot site, and the extra damage and martyr. I also carry 3 frags. Closer maps I stick with submachine gun lately. I tried the UAV jammer and silencer combo, but I just hate that iron sight so much. I still don't know the maps really well either. I should probably take some time to do that.

Just got 26-3-9, which isn't bad considering I was lagging to all hell. 4 of them came from one grenade though. 😉

Just played some oooold school games and loved em,
1)metal slug 3: Sorry man, this has gotta be the most insane and detailed side scrollen shooter ever. You can play online with someone else. Good stuff.

2)streets of rage 2: I used to play this bad boy in junior year of college on the genesis fer cryen out loud. Crack open a couple of beers and then crack some ninja skull with a 4 foot long lead pipe. Nice. Online multiplayer supported.

I am yet to figure out why everyone thinks that others want to hear them sing on xbox live. I discovered the glory of muting people last week. Makes the experience much nicer.
