Hello,
I just graduated from UCSD few weeks ago with a Physiology and Neuroscience major. I went through the community college route where I got a 3.56 GPA. I struggled in university, so just off of the cGPA from UCSD I know I have to do a postbac/SMP. I found a template that calculated my cGPA and sGPA and they are 3.374 and 3.210 , respectively. I wanted to ask if you have any advice for me because momentum for med school is slowly dying. Also, do you recommend me taking the MCAT before or during the postbac/SMP? The postbac programs I have been looking at offer special MCAT preparing workshops, so I'm kind of a lost puppy.
