In my gap year, I have been doing research and I recently was able to get my name on a poster presentation and I am close to my first publication (~2 months). Is it worth sending an update letter to the schools I already interviewed at or am I just wasting the their time? I have also started shadowing a physician that works in the same lab as me and could include that in the update as well if warranted. Thanks.
