Hello all, I'm new to the forum. I was looking for some advice on whether or not i should take the MCAT early without having much time to have studied and apply this fall.

I just want to get some people's opinions on whether or not posting a bad MCAT score will hurt me later down the road after retaking it and getting a better score.

Take the test only when you're ready, and apply only when you're ready. Would you want a physician who knowingly takes on tasks he/she isn't ready for?

Assuming this is a legit post...

No, I'm serious. I figured I can probably pull an average score, given that I've performed fairly strongly in my science courses. I just needed to hear from people whether or not posting a bad score and having to retake it is detrimental

If you spend a little time reading in this forum, you'll understand how bad of a mistake it is to "apply in the fall".

And you think that taking a high stakes, career deciding exam when unprepared is a good idea how?????

Take the MCAT once, and only when you are fully ready.

Adcom members are allergic to people who make poor choices.
