Postponed release date?

Sweet I can view my app! Question guys, my MCAT score was just uploaded this morning so it doesn't show up on my application file when I view it. Will my score be sent automatically to the school or do I have to do something?
 
Alright, definitely need to get power-writing. See you all in a few days.
 
Dang, my sGPA decreased from 3.32 to 3.26. Hopefully that doesn't hurt me too much.

Well I applied to a few MD programs last year, and they had 3.32 for my sGPA, so i assumed AACOMAS would calculate it the same, but I guess not. The cGPA was the same though.

They have different course classifications.

AACOMAS should automatically send updates to your selected schools when they receive them. You shouldn't have to do anything, but you could email AACOMAS to make sure if it would make you feel more assured.
 
I was able to view my released, completed app this morning...but I checked back again this afternoon and it went back to "file could not be found."

Another delay?

Exactly what I did! Hopefully my mcat score will be uploaded the next time they are up. I wonder if this means that schools havent had our apps at all?

Perhaps, it would be nice to get this process moving along and make use of the "advantage" we get by applying early.

Maybe we should all bombard the vickster with questions as to why this is going on and how much they will refund us for the delays and confusion. Seriously though, SOME kind of explanation would be appreciated.
 
When you're able to view your app after being released, was it the same as the "Print Summary" feature before submitting, which only lists your Position Titles for work and EC, or do your activity descriptions show up too, like on AMCAS?

BTW, ROFLMAO on all the Ian Vickers nicknames and memes!

Ahhh this clarifies it. I was so confused on what being Vickered meant?! I thought it was some sort of a pop culture reference that I was not cool enough to know about. LOL😛

It was different...it included Gpa calculations is exactly what the school sees 🙂

It's similar to the verified summary of your AMCAS. The GPA before verification might not be the same as post-verification though. Mine sGPA was 0.2 lower, cGPA 0.2 higher.

Do you think this is because they didn't count one of the courses that you had marked as a science course to be a science course?

I think my sGPA is lower because of some changes in my retakes.

For example I took physics 1 originally at a school that gave separate grades for lecture (4credits) and lab (1 credit). My retake school grouped them together (5 credits). When I submitted, my AACOMAS looked like this:

Physics 1 Lecture (R01)
Physics 1 Lab (R01)
Physics 1 (L01)

Post-verification it looks like this:

Physics 1 Lecture (R01)
Physics 1 Lab (None)
Physics 1 (L01)



I have no clue how my cGPA went up.

What does the "None" mean here? Does it mean they don't accept the repeat?

The "none" just means there is no special classification. You cannot replace a separate lec/lab with a combined lec/lab. They only replace the lecture grade in that case.
 
How do you check your final verified GPA?

when I go to the 'colleges and coursework' tab, its just shows a list of all my course..even on the app summary, it only shows a list..

can't do it yet...some of us were able to on Sunday (was it sunday?) but its no longer available.

But, how you will do it is click on the release date (that now only produces a page that states an error) and it will show you your app, with GPA breakdowns on the first page

Well, I found out NSU doesn't have one, and then I decided I'm not bothering with touro ny, so I've lost some motivation. I've almost finished KCOM and that's about it. I'm going to try and do them this weekend. A test today and another one tomorrow, plus being at work everyday doesn't leave mea lot of time to write these damn things.
 
Now I'm wishing I had applied to a couple more schools. Applier's remorse
