Potential conflict of interest

I currently work for a local retail chain and I want to apply for an open per-diem position at OptionCare which is now owned by Walgreens. Now since OptionCare is a different practice setting (home-infusion/specialty) which my chain doesn't provide, would it cause a conflict of interest based on that fact that Walgreens is a competing chain?

I would go ahead and apply for the job especially since it is not in the retail game. I would not tell everyone what I was doing but I dont think CVS could stop you legally. I have heard that stuff not hold up in court well.
