For every person that posts something positive, another posts something horrifically negative (this goes for 90% of EE schools). Hungary and Romania get blasted the hardest, followed by Poland, and lastly the Czech Republic gets little notice either way.
It's a gamble to go to Poland because the programs aren't very old (in English, that is), and it's hard to find any objective information (no stats). If you get accepted, invest in a plane ticket, and check the place out. Wait outside the building and annoy students with tons of questions. If the place is a nightmare and you decide not to attend, you saved yourself the agony of wasting your time/money for at least a semester.
And at least you got a little vacation out of it.
