Hey,

I was wondering, how does the difficulty of these two test related to the difficulty of the real MCAT? I'm kinda freaking out since I scored significantly lower than I usually do on the diags and AAMC practice exams and my MCAT is less than a month away. I felt that it was much harder than the AAMC test and longer and somewhat more difficult than the diags. Please don't confuse these with the Diags 1 and 2, these exams are the untimed "review" exams that the PR gives in addition two the 9 Diag tests. Can someone please answer this for me? Thank you!

Just out of curiosity, what were your usual scores on the other TPR tests, and what did you average on the 2 hard ones? Our teachers said that those two exams are really hard and probably won't do you any good since they kill morale. They said to focus more on the AAMC tests. I haven't hit those 2 review tests yet though. I plan on doing them later though after finishing the original 9 TPR tests.

FWIW, my AAMC test average is 5 points higher than my TPR tests. I don't stress too much about my TPR scores.

TPR verbal is bad although their "question attack" strategy is useful if you need that sort of thing.

TPR BS seems to be about the same, with somewhat longer "trains of thought" needed to get to the answer.

The Physical Sciences sections on TPR are difficult and rely heavily on memorized equations and calculations - but given what others have been saying about the MCAT, grinding calculations may be a good thing to learn for this year's test.
