Hi everyone! I'm taking my part 1 in a few days and getting really anxious. I took an old released exam and did pretty badly. I was just wanted to ask the people who recently took their part 1-- how your practice exams compared to your real score and were certain sections harder than expected? Also, are there any illustrations on the new format? I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
Solve as many Q papers as possible. The old papers have many repetitions so your actual scores will always be less than those you are scoring with the old papers.
If you are finding any topic new to you,Then it shows that you need to improve on it. I have taken part1 twice. The first time I felt as if many Q were googly. But the 2nd time I realised that no more that couple of Q's are googly infact...I discovered that my prep first time was no closer to the 2nd prep...
I shall suggest you to look into wiki or other sites for the details of an answer choice. Doing this will help you remember the topic and also to answer any Q's on the same topic in your actual exams. It worked for me!
Guess you are still preparing for your exams n this will help you..Good luck.
