Okay, so I'm taking a TPR course right now, and although I can't say the classes themselves are worth the 45 minute drive, its at least got a fire under my ass and there are some pretty cool online materials.

Anyway, they have this practice material schedule where they want their students to take a practice test every 2 weeks, starting 2 weeks after the first class. Considering we still haven't even covered 1/5th of the material, I really find that to be nothing short of their way of being able to say at the end of your course: "look how we improved your score!".

So, what I was wondering is this: if you had access to TPR Online Diagnostics 1-9 and AAMC tests 3-10, and were taking the test on May 27th with your TPR class ending on April 4th, how would you schedule your practice exams? And, would you throw in anymore exam materials?

Here is what I'm considering:
1) Not following their prescribed testing dates and simply taking advantage of their classes and resources.
2) Last two weeks of TPR, take 2 TPR diagnostic exams--one on each weekend so I have access to instructors if I have specific questions regarding the exmas.
3) For the next seven weeks, take 2 exams per week. After each exam, see where I performed poorly, and review that material.

Anyway, any and all input would be greatly appreciated, as always!

I take one practice test a week, and spend the rest of the week reviewing the topics I missed on that test.

I have two notebooks (one for ps, one for bs) that I take notes in after I finish a practice test. I review these notes (abt one to two pages per practice test) from the beginning every night and then I review indepth the things I added to the notebook for that test.

so far, its working. 🙂

i actually took princeton reivew course. i did the princeton review tests on schedule for the first 2 tests then found them to be inaccurate. i just went on with the course without doing the tests. after the end of the course, i reviewed the material more in detail and starting maybe 2-3 weeks before exam, i did all the AAMC exams.

in hindsight, i wouldve taken 1 or 2 AAMC exams early on and then save the rest for the same schedule i had.
