In the next few years, what city, state would be ideal for setting up a new practice?

Honest answer here. Forget what the demographic studies say and look to set up(or go in with someone)in a place where you want to live. Whats the use of setting up a practice in a place just because some study says that a certain town is ideal, if you're not happy living there(remember most folks only practice 30-35 hrs a week and that leaves about 130 or so hours a week away from the office!

If it make you feel better, the demographics of dentists in general has substantially more folks retiring each year than graduating now, so there will be numerous opportunities where ever YOU want to practice :D
