What are the reprecussions of working as an intern at your place of work after a disciplinary dismissal from school but while in the appeal process trying to get back into school? It's claimed the pharmacy supervisor was notified of the school dismissal, but apparently no changes were made to remploy the former student in a non-intern role. What school or board reprecussions could there be? What actions should the student do?

I don't think I understand the question.

Sounds like OP got booted from pharmacy school but is still working as a pharmacy student intern while he/she appeals the expulsion. He/she wants to know if keeping intern status is ok during the appeal process.

This might be state specific, I don't know. If you are appealing and your intent license hasn't been revoked my instinct would be that you can still work, but who knows? Not me.

The Texas Pharmacy Act says:

(2) Expiration date for student-intern designation.
(A) The student-internship expires:
(i) if the student-intern voluntarily or involuntarily ceases enrollment, including suspension, in a
college/school of pharmacy;

So here, once you're dropped, your license is inactive.

Edit: This was my 8,000th post? Eh, good enough.

in my state there is not intern license, but one must be enrolled to work as an intern. what is the penalty for working without enrollment? Also, what if it was also the mistake of the company not knowing what to do after enrollment ended?
