New RR Pathology comes out tomorrow!!!
So what other Rapid Review books do you suggest other than the Pathology one?
I was about to ask the same thing but I see you've posted the Q already. Is everybody only getting the Path?

BRS Path is pure pathology. RR Path is more like path mixed with phys, pharm, biochem, and micro.did anyone feel like Goljan was too detailed for the boards? It seems to have more info than BRS path.
Thanks!
it is definitely looks more detailed then BRS...but besides the obvious part of having more physio, biochem, micro, etc (perfectly integrated) the format is much more spread out then BRS. To get all the small details and explainations of mechanism, lab tests, etc you really have to read every word of every sentence in BRS path as they are not really laid out for you as in RR. There is also the issue of full sentence in BRS vs. pure outline in RR, and inclusion of lots of charts and picture in RR.did anyone feel like Goljan was too detailed for the boards? Same here... I'm pretty sure I'll use FA and RR only for board review, with other books kept only for reference.I almost feel like after an initial review of physio, biochem and micro....that I'll just use RR (and of course First Aid) to integrate everything and only look at other specific sources if I get somethign wrong on a practice test that I don't explicitely find in RR or FA
