You guys are getting trolled....hard.
That's what I've been wondering this whole time... but with Once's history of posts/threads this didn't seem to be beyond him/her.
You guys are getting trolled....hard.
Aside from the fact that you've apparently been misled somewhere along the way, who do you intend to share this wealth of audio with? Do you plan to write an autobiography? Or perhaps the world's longest personal statement?
Its just a hobby of mine. I want to be able to look back and remember some of my fondest memories after I retire. My roommate also does voice journals except with their computer.

I'm starting to think you're right. This user has done a hell of a lot of work to establish a character for her troll though.
Cmon...you've got to be kidding me. Some of my threads are off-topic and weird, but most of them are legitimate discussion topics.
I've lurked this forum for about 3 years and have been posting for almost 2. I speak whats on my mind and apparently that gets me labeled as troll...whatever lol.

Is this you once?

Is there any way at all you could possibly email these journals to me? I would honestly pay for them. I have a feeling it would overtake "wife swap" as the single best thing in my life right now.
Has there ever been a pre-med documentary made?
If there hasn't, that'd be an awesome thing to make; one that details the hardships that us pre-meds have to face on a daily basis.
Why is everybody acting like they don't use tape recorders to trap their innermost thoughts and feelings? I was given to understand its quite commonplace and its actually very efficient
Not once has such a film been made.
I see what you did there.
Once! With the condescending meme! Epic.
Didn't mean to be condescending...I really did see what he did thar.
Not sure if serious..
OK, so let me get this straight:
Somebody made a clever comment involving my username.
I said "I see what you did there" implying that I picked up on his "joke" if you will
People think I am being condescending for saying this
Other people don't think I'm serious about not being condescending with this comment.
This is very interesting but I'm one of the people who never tries to be mean on this forum.
Oh trust me I get it...
People were saying that it was condescending? That I do not get.
Indeed! Whole thread has been quite the disaster though...
Call me a troll all you want, the tape recorder part is real. I'm a her too by the way, just to clarify. People always assumed it and I don't think I ever stated it explicitly.

I don't think Once is a troll. He/she is just really really awkward...We all have that one kid in class that no one talks to because they're just super weird.

I think you have autisms or aspergers, though if you have autism you're the 1/3 that's not mentally ******ed though sometimes I wonder about that too...
85 facepalms. Well done. Am I winning?

I've actually been told that a few times in real life minus the ******ed part. I have an uncanny amount of patience with certain things and probably freak some people out in my chemE classes. "I did the whole question with the wrong value of omega, I'll redo it now"
I'm able to function completely on my own and I have a great life and if I did have something like that it doesn't affect me at all so I could care less about a diagnosis lol.
Thanks for the concern though.
If you think pre-med is hard, maybe you should go to Africa and see people with some real problems. Not only would it help your med school applications, it would also make a better documentary.

It is time that I unfurl my flag in this thread...
What's with all the anime, bro?
85 facepalms.

Panda Bear's PS would be the perfect jumping off point for a docu-drama.

I'm going to alert my nephew in Hollywood.
We assumed that it could only be condescending because the original joke was so very terrible. Still not sure if best troll in universe. You may proceed.
In response to the bit about Doctors' Diaries, anyone else know any good Netflix films/documentaries related to medical school, residency or anything else medical?
There were ABC series called (I believe) Hopkins and Boston Med that were quite good, about 7 episodes each. There's another in the works by the same team of producers in NY right now, I believe. You can find them on iTunes if nothing else.
I saw Boston Med, but I didn't see Hopkins available on Netflix, I'll check iTunes. Is the New York version at NY Pres/Weill/HSS?
