Hard to say exactly. DMU guarantees an interview to everyone who does theirs. Most site say something like "only students who would be considered for admission will be considered". I did one and thought it was nice for all the people who would be in charge of the admissions decision to know me and remember me when I came for my interview. So, it is impossible to say exactly how much it helps, but it can't hurt!

Zero probably. From my experience, the internship programs are harder to get into than the school itself, so if you can get into a program, you can get into the school
