Pre-reqs at different university OK?

I am going to be graduating after this semester and still need some pre-reqs. I will be taking summer classes at this university, however, in the following school year I'll need to take more classes as well. Would it be OK if I did these classes at a university near my hometown? Or would I need to do it at my current university?

We don't have community colleges here in Canada so this part confuses me. I want to give myself the best chances. ]

I've taken all my science pre-reqs, 2 sociology, 2 psych, 1 english. Need 1 more english and additional humanities courses for some schools.

Kind of confused why you would graduate as a premed without taking all the necessary classes?
Since they are humanities, I don't think they would raise any flags.

Here in Canada we don't have pre-reqs. I only decided to apply to the US recently due to the vastly superior specialization options.
