This might be a poor question, but I have been unable to get a solid answer. Do all of the pre-requisites for a dental school need to be completed prior to applying? Can some be completed before applying with the rest being finished by the time undergraduate graduation? thanks

You can still be working on prereqs while applying as long as they are finished before dental school.

no they do not need to be completed bfore you apply. you just need to take the prereqs that are on the DAT because on the dat they have topics from the prereq class. But you need to finish the prereq before going intodental school

I heard bio, gen chem, and organ chem must be completed before applying since those subjects are on the DAT.

Ohio State requires 3/4 of them done. Not any in particular.

Check with your schools. I can for sure tell you that I didn't have Bio or Ochem done when I submitted my AADSAS app.

thanks for posting this...I was going to ask the exact same question but found it on the search 🙂
