Yep! I have had the same problem all afternoon.
 
still down today...
any idea when it will be back?
 
Word on the street is Nova added another 100 interviews so it crashed the server when everyone tried to add them to their invite list 😛
 
WHAT! You're telling me that I got a 4.0, 30 DAT, 70,000 hours of shadowing and 15 publications for nothing!?
 
It was down last night too. I found myself twitching with anxiety:scared:

ok good im not the only one with this problem. i hope it comes back soon!
 
The operator may be adding a new application. Like instead of the interview table/ chart on the home page, maybe they're updating to an acceptance table/ chart since acceptances will be rolling out in a month or so
 
Back up...my whole server went down

That's a sign of keen competition with so many people hitting the site.
 
I've been having problems with predents.com for a week now. Is the server overloaded or its down completely?
 
It's down again tonight! This is the greatest tragedy to predental students since the mass closing of dental schools in the 80s/90s. 😱
 
you guys are newbs, i downloaded all predents stuff into my 5TB external just incase things like this happen. I live off that site!

if you need a profile looked up, just type it and i'll post the stats for you...














Just kidding, i hope predents webmaster fixes it soon

My email server at work is down, Predent is down. I have read all the current SDN threads. NOW WHAT????

I am bored.
 
Predents.com has been down for me for a while now......It is still down as of Monday October 26th at 5:18 pm Can anyone fix this?

It is now 5:54 pm..... Predents.com is still down so the problem is not fixed by anyone yet.😉
 
OMG I'm about to go crazy!! Since my life is so boring, what else am I supposed to do with my time?

I didn't miss predents... until now. I keep forgetting, will click on a profile, and the "internet explorer cannot display the webpage" pops up. It makes me sad.
 
I never thought I'd say this but I reaaallllyyy neeed this site back up. What am I to do without having my fix of predents stats (albeit skewed stats). I take it PDizzle has been busy with D4.
 
He needs a successor. I mean pdizz is about to be a dentist and will be a very busy man.
 
True. I think we should have an election (if PDizzle decides to pass the torch once he's Dr. PDizzle) to see who should take the reins. Start the campaigning! :prof:

As an administrator I promise to work dilligently, to my fullest capacity, in maintaining and improving the integrity to what is the PreDents.com website. I will bring about the mandatory input of school name and major as part of a systemwide overhaul, one of which is just series of small steps in creating a well rounded statistical community of aspiring dentists.

Hilarious thread!!! :laugh:

My server had a data breech and entire room full of servers have to be worked on to retrieve the backed up data. They keep sending me ETA's but when it comes up, I get another ETA. Shouldn't be too much longer.

It's Nova's fault. They give out so many interviews that the database can't handle the influx of information
 
All right!

To celebrate, we are going to have a welcome back party for Predents at Nova Southeastern...since we all got interviews there
