Does anyone know if the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville cares mostly about in state and those with close ties or if they are open to OOS's as well. They are new on MSAR and so have little info...

Most state schools have a preference (of varying degree) for in-state applicants, so I'd say its safe to assume USC-Greenville is similar.
